A good ballistic app wil give you our POI. I run a 300 yard zero while zeroing at a 100 yard target. I draw my POA and a 1" box 3.74" above it. My goal is to get them in the box.

Search YouTube for Rocky Mountain, Blue Ridge or Taskforce Dagger Multigun. Those are 3 that come to mind that use slings. Don't worry about the muzzle until you put one in the chamber, that's when the 180 usually starts.

depends on what you'll be using the gun for. For 3 gun, a 200 or 300 yard is common. A good barrel/ammo combination should give you a 1/2-1 moa group
