I've used clamp on gas blocks with no problems so far. I haven't shot all that many rounds though through my ar-15's. I suppose if they don't work out in the long run I can replace them with something else

I have a pair of the hi-tec magnums and really like them. Used them when I used to ride motorcycles. Still wear them occasionally when it's cold or out in the woods.

You might check out the U.S. Concealed Carry Association. They have insurance and provide lawyers etc.

In the winter when I wear a jacket I prefer the owb type holster and in the summer or when wearing a jacket isn't possible I prefer a pocket holster. I prefer leather although I have a Crossbreed leather and kydex iwb and like it. I think around $30 to $50 bucks is good price range.
