Love that finish! Did you do some of that, or did it come that way? Reason i ask, is that i have done that exact same finish on several of my 1911's.
Scotchbrite pad's and repetition. Nice gun!
That is the finish that comes out of Nighthawk for the Thunder Ranch. I would imagine you could order that finish on any of their guns, but that's just speculation. If you like the finish, just buy the gun, in the end you'll be happy. It's a great gun, and you'll most probably own that gun for life. That's a lot of years, so maybe it's not that expensive.

It would almost be easier to define God and give three examples. I've got a .22 I found out Joe Chambers built that is awesome, but my rotation is that one, an AccuShadow 2, a McLearn Custom 2011, an Akai Custom, and my trusty M9. I know it said to choose one, but I shoot all of mine regularly and they all are flat out awesome and fun to shoot.

Mine was about 3 weeks ago. Springfield RO Champion .45. It was a couldnt miss much day. The 25yd and 50yd targets were taking a beating. No flaws with pistol and the Tula and Blazer Aluminum rounds were just working.
PMR30 was also working well. I love a range day when it just goes right!

my 2 favorites to shoot. My Les Baer Pll 45 and my one of two of my fathers colt mid range 38 specials. The colt trigger is scary light, Ive need to measure it, and is built right like the Baer. Bushing is incredibly tight, no slide wiggle and one of the most accurate semi auto pistols I've shot (with the right ammo, lol).

Per topic for me till the new wears off my AR 8" 9mm, more I shoot it more I want to. I do plan to take my EOT off it and put a good scope on it for a range trip just to see how it will shoot then the EOT goes back on.

Favorite pistol (right now) is my Cabot Gentlemans Carry in 9mm. Not only beautiful but so sooth to shoot. My rifle choice is my Larue in .308. Can put three bullets in one hole at 100 yards. Served me well at a Rifles Only course and just fun to take to the Range.

I knew what STI's choice was gonna behe loves that AR pistol! Mine Desert Eagle(Bul Armory) 9mm 1911, all internals polished, had it black nitrided, Dawson fiber optics, magwell and G10 grips, it is absolutely gorgeous with the jet black finish and white G10's, will run anything, 3.5 lb trigger as good as any I've felt, for 750 bucks this is an amazing 1911. We are living in an awesome time for such choices for nice reliable 1911's between 500-1000 bucks. Dream gun however still Wilson Combat CQB even though I doubt would out perform my Desert Eagle, 2nd dream Gun a Cabot Dracco, might be Draco, can't remember and to lazy to look up

My most enjoyable to shoot is what ever I happen to take to the range that day. It can be one of the 4 1911's I have or any of the revolvers maybe even one of the long guns.

My favorite pistol changes 2 or 3 times a year . Right now it's my CZShadow 2 with trigger work by Steve Owens and CGW parts . My favorite 1911 is my Volkmann Signature.

But my favorite gun to shoot above and beyond everything is my Browning 725 Citori Trap. I've shot shotguns costing 5 times as much , and this one feels like its part of me .

My Langdon Tactical Beretta 92 Elite.

SUPER SMOOTH, TOTALLY LINEAR double action trigger pull and SUPER CRISP, short reset and CRISP single action. This one was ordered from LTT so it came with a trigger job.

Lovely pistol.

Not a cop out, but some time ago decided that if I didn't like shooting it I would sell it, so enjoy all of my guns petty much the same but picking a favorite would be my Wilson EDC X 9. Several thousand rounds and still no FTF issues.
