A friend of mine has the fail zero bolt and it does make cleanup very easy. Not sure after 1000's of rounds, but I know with just a few hundred you don't even need to pull out the toothbrush. A good hard wipedown is usually enough
I have a LWRCi M6A3 that has the same type of coating on the bcg as the fail zero bcg's and it's almost a joke how clean it is being a piston gun.
I'm actually going to do an experiment with this particular Loki build. I have a Spikes Tactical standard bcg (non nickle-boron/fail zero plated) that I'm going to use with this upper and I'm going to see how long I can run it with out cleaning it. Debating if I should atleast clean the barrel and chamber, but leave the bcg dirty.
I've heard reports of people putting 1000's of rounds through an uncleaned AR with nothing more than a wet hose down of lube into the BCG every 200 or so rounds. I'm going to see if I can achieve this.

I drove to CHA yesterday to pick up the loki lowers and just found out that I couldn't get them because I am not an OK resident. Had to get Steve to transfer them again!

I need a LOKI stripped forged upper to go with my lower. Any chance I can get one through this group buy?
I have a few LOKI parts that are nickel boron coated and they are awesome for ease of cleaning.
I would never intentionally not lubricate the rifle if I had oil available no matter what coating is on it. If you want to run it longer than you should beteween lubrication and cleaning the coating is sure to help you there too but intentionally not lubing is counterintuitive in my mind.

I think it may be no bueno for the stripped forge upper with this group buy. One of the things we discussed was making this simple and straight forward with completed uppers only. No barrels, upper parts, ect. However, you may want to ask him directly. He may let a few exceptions through.
