S&W 442, small lock blade folder, Wallet, a reload for the Smith, keys, and a phoneWe always hear talk about EDC items but after seeing some of the lists, I have my doubts if anyone is really being truthful. I am talking about the stuff you carry EVERY SINGLE DAY, not some days, or days your going on a trip, or days you think about it. Stuff that goes in your pocket no matter if your going to the store or going on vacation.
Obviously there are some days we carry more stuff. If I listed everything in my briefcase, it would look like I am preparing for the apocalypse but I only have it on me 5 days a week and even then, only a portion of each day.
REMEMBER, BE HONEST. We won't learn anything if you try to make yourman purseEuropean Shoulder Bag sound like a Rambo movie prop

Think I miss read the question, you meant besides the side arm. Other than my handgun I carry an Old Timer trapper pocket knife and a buckeye, thats about it.

also carry a S&W 442 or glock43, lockblade knife, wallet, small streamlite, P-38 and chapstick.
I like your choices. Mine I must admit vary, sometimes It's a glock 19, or possibly a Taurus g3c. Mostly the 442 tho.

EDC: Cell phone, ZT folder, SureFire Titan Plus. Wallet, Credentials Plus a pistol and at least 1 spare magazine. either my Gunsite Glock Service Pistol or yeterday and today, a Wilson Combat .45 in a Milt Sparks SS-2 w/ 2 spare magazines. since was/going to be wearing a sport coat later

As much as I absolutely love my full size Rock Island 1911 .45 ACP in an Uncle Mike's shoulder holster, I find that stashing my newly acquired S&W Mod 36 .38spl snubby, is much more convenient. Hmmm... I wonder if I could/should carry both, or is that considered overkill?
Not overkill at all. I've been known to carry two at a time also.
