What did you carry today?

Fencing work I use a nylon with a cover flap as I have had barb wire scratches before but not with nylon holster I found also a mag holder on it, lake trips even use a paracord lanyard for safety there. I do agree on leather but we are having bad storms here daily with bad rains so use kydex then on lake trips not daily carry which is my Minute Man OWB leather for sure or for 1911 a Rusty Sherrick leather OWB.

Been away from here a while,nice to be back.I guess if we can talk about Glocks in a 1911 carry section i can talk about the other JMB creation. Its an alloy frame Hi Power with a FM Detective top end,great little carry piece and about the came weight as any of the plastic fantastics.

Just now a friend commented on all the nice pistols and holsters shown but ALL OF THEM SHOW NO WEAR! compared mine look like they are Goodwill rejects due to wear on them all my 1911's but my Paras from Wilson down all look like they need refinishing also from wear from carry and match use.

I was planting trees and doing tractor work today, carried a custom S&W 360J snubby .38spl in my back pocket in a leather no name pocket holster. Needed something handy that would be out of the way.

Just the Berg today. View attachment 541We had the biggest monsoon I had seen in 15 years come through the valley. I worked from 7-7 in 95 degrees with 50-70% humidity depending on the time of day and soaked completely though my clothes. So I don't carry a gun on my person in those conditions. I rust through the hardware on my phone holster multiple times a year.

Gen 3 Glock should hold up to those conditions...
