Show us those rifles!

How are they with original AR-15/M-16 20 round mags? It would look pretty sleek using those in it! :ugeek:

They work well. I'll snag some pics this weekend. Only issues I've had are with Gen2 PMags. They load fine, but the mag release button doesn't like them. Takes some persuasion to get them out.

What scope is that on the Mossy in the bottom pic?

It's a Nikon P223 3x, made for an AR and a 55gr 223 round. It's super super nice. I think I'll retire it to one of the AR's or sell it real soon. It's nice, but I want a little more zoom on this rifle. The BDC reticle is awesome.

Thanks for the reply....Nice looking scope......I won't use anything less than a 3-9x with my bum vision....I do a lot of 100yd 22 cal shooting.......I still like your scope we talked about...Found the same scope with and without reticle illumination and am contemplating ordering one.

I'm new to the forum and I am not even in SC yet but I'm always up for sharing pictures of my baby. This is my CMP Collectors Grade M-1. I bought it right at the end of when they were still readily available. I even drove to the Camp Parry store in Ohio to pick mine out personally.

Man...I know I am going to like you already...Beautiful Garand...I have a couple of them, myself...Few of the guys here have shot my shooter...They are great rifles...

I've had a soft spot for Garands since I was a kid. As soon as I had the opportunity to own one I took it. It's not my most expensive rifle even but it's the closest to my heart. :)

UPDATE on the MVP. Wasn't really a fan of the predator version stock, as it didn't fit me very well. Found a guy that wasn't fond of his varmint version of the stock, so we switched. Feels so much better to me and it looks better as well.

Also moved the Nikon P223 to an AR, and got a crazy deal on this scope for the MVP. It's a Sightmark Triple Duty 8.5-25x illuminated mil-dot. Has gotten some EXCELLENT reviews, and I had some amazon gift cards so I snagged it up after shooting with one on a friends Remmy 700. Price was right, and I really like it for the money. I need the 20MOA base for it, but I got it sighted in at 100 yards and have stretched her out to 300 accurately with it.

I have one of those Mossberg MVP things, wish it had iron sights, would shoot it more often. I just take for ever to choose nice glass.

Recently releaSed patrol version has iron sights.

PappaBear, have you got to shoot it beyond 100 yards yet?.......I am curious as to what it will do at or beyond 300 yards.

Arg oh well guess itll have to sit in safe till iget $ for glass. The Ruger Gunsite Scout sees more trigger time, even if has the NF scope in waiting on my old bench rifle,

Hope that rifle didnt mar the paint on that Monster SUV of yours Tell all the guns Nuts at work i said Hey

Nah, was sitting on rubber on butt stock and rubber feet on the bipod.

Not like you can hurt that damn crappy paint anyway.

Here's one of my favorite. You have to watch your knuckles; else it will burn the hair off. HK51k (308). It?s not good for much more than smiles. :P

I love that thing...

You almost have to knock the smile off of your face after you shhot that thing...

You almost need a welders shield, also...

I traded for another AR...It has been duro-coated...Going to try a pic...I have a FDE mag for her...It is pretty cool.
