Sometimes an injury like that can actually be an ACL tear. Too bad I wasn't shooting that match, I could have taken a look.

My Beretta Xtrema2 is very soft shooting as well and it will cycle the softest of shells, even Fiocchi extra low recoil "training" shells. I shoot a M1 for competition.
