I have a DW PM9 that I bought new and it now has about 1800 rounds downrange. I love the gun and it shoots fine, but it sprays empty cases everywhere. They bounce off my arm or chest or land up to 8 ft. away. They go anywhere from 1 o'clock to 5. It's been doing this ever since I got it. I have increased the tension on the extractor and I think it's good but it didn't help the ejection pattern. I'm thinking now that it's the ejector. The end of the ejector is angled like this \ and from what I've read it should be angled more like /. I'm new to 1911s and pretty inexperienced with stuff like this but not afraid to tackle something new. But I would like the opinions of some experts.
P.S. - I live out in the boonies and don't know of a gunsmith anywhere close by.
