What did you shoot today?

I have an exceptionally nice blued pistol that is lacking some finish due to the lack of the frame protectors. I almost cried when I saw the damage......

300 rounds through this, as fast as I could shoot. Testing it out (and sighting in the Romeo 1) to see how it handles different loads. Flawless and it was HOT when I was done.

The last 150 rounds at 15 yards (45 feet). It will work for the local gun range plastic gun games.

A nice, full size 1911, in the back yard. Sig WTP, BB pistol. Great practice gun, while watching the grass grow.

Not today but just got home and now have time to post. Shot my Wilson CQB Commander 9mm at the match during the Milt Sparks 50th Anniversary in Idaho. Got to see my buddy Jim Wall and all the crew from Milt Sparks. Clint and Heidi Smith from Thunder Ranch along with their instructors were there as was Jason Burton of Heirloom Precision. What a great group of people.

This little thing followed me home yesterday.

I put 200 flawless rounds of RN 124 gr through it today. I will switch out the trigger (way to curved, digs into my finger) to a straighter one from Cajun Custom. Another 100-200 of carry ammo and it will be a great carry gun in the rotation. CZs are growing on me.

Another day, another gun. Took this on out back today. A match made in heaven, S&W M&P C 22 and my first,(of many) can. a Huntertown Guardian 22. That pair have been perfect since day 1. The Gkids will fight over that one.

Shoot my Desert Eagle at IDPA match this past weekend, 5" 9 mm with Dawson front fiber optic, white G10 grips from Lokgrips, Klonnemus magwell, had whole thing black nitrided, love this 1911. Not IDPA legal in sanctioned matches, has a bull barrel, I've got a new bushing barrel one on the way from Israel from Bul Ltd, they make the Desert Eagles

Shot a new to me full size CQB in .45. Made last year and less than 100 rounds fired through it. Shot primarily Commander and 4" guns and so I need to get used to the 5" shooting drills from the holster. The balance is different. The photo is the first shot with this gun on a IDPA target from the draw at 10 yards. 5061View attachment 5060View attachment 5060
