What did you buy yourself today (Photo Thread)...

the second case would have to be 50% off to get to 0.15 per round.

21.9 cents/rd is $219.00 for 1000.

or am i missing something?

Checked the link earlier and it was .15 a rd but sold out. Looks like they found a couple of cases in the back...

They F'd up and posted it as $119.99 a case of 1000 so I bought two. Later I get an email saying my order was canceled because of a price discrepancy. Talk about being bummed out. I guess they wondered why all 120 cases sold out in an hour.

slowest build ever

finally spent those gift cards I got for xmas...stepped into the PSA I26 store in cola...asked if any 16in 556 barrel..said no only 10in .300blk...made my way to the counter and what do you know...they had 1...asked the other guy to see it he said we dont have any...so i pointed it out...said thats first one hes seen in forever...so i snatched it up

Finally found a good deal on these in general, and found someone stocking the midlength version.

I got the holy grail of ammo last week at Walmart, I bought 2 bricks of 22LR. I guess I happened to be at the right place at the right time.

I just purchased this in 10" for my pistol build.

Came with NO instructions, and an interesting design to secure to barrel nut.....don't have the upper and nut yet to try it out, but I'm concerned about the method to attach to the upper.

Did yours come with instructions?

Where did you guys get your carbon fiber front? Im looking for a CHEAP front end for my 3 gun rifle.

Cheap is relative.

I got AP Customs tubes, and from an ebay dealer actually. None of the regular retail channels had them in midlength (9"). Ended up about $30 off retail; still over $100 each with shipping etc.

I do have instructions, PapaBear. I can scan them for you; pm me your email address. FWIW, they aren't *that* great. I should get my barrel nut from midway today, I can put it together and take some pics if that helps.

That would be a big help. I'm using it on my pistol build.....I get the basic concept of how it should mount (I THINK, LOL), just want to be sure!

Thanks

Bought a Rock River arms pistol buffer tube kit direct from Rock River 12 days ago. Logged in to check status today, nothing there. I called, they checked order and said "oh those are on backorder, have been for about 2 months, and will be for at least another 2 months."

"Really? Why doesn't the web site show that?" "Well, sir, that is a lot of work to keep the stock up to date on the website."

WHAT THE HELL?

The last part I need to finish my pistol build.....so I bought this today with expedited shipping, will have tomorrow for less money.

I have heard a lot of good things about faze 5 Parts... Lots of people use their buffer systems with great success..

Glad you found what you need to finish up the build..

Steve

I picked up this little fella today.

Now begins the fun task of getting the stamp and turning this little fire breather into a SBR.

If anyone who has been through the SBR process would like to PM me so I ask a bunch of stupid questions I would be greatly appreciative. :D

if UAG were close they are great. give them some info and they give you a manila envelope with typed forms filled out. you just get the sheriff to sign, fingerprints done, go to a UPS store for passport photos, insert check or money order and let them send it notification of reciept required.that way you know the BATFE has it.

SBR was my first NFA and i did it myself. it took about 7 months back then but partly because they returned it. in the space for caliber i put 223/5.56. they sent it back with a note that said "pick a caliber". damn.

dont do that.
