Ordered two cases of Wolf Gold .223/5.56 (brass, not steel!) for $339 / 1000. With shipping the total for 2,000 rounds was $720.11

Have you used this before? That's a great price! I use their steel stuff in my Eastern block stuff all the time but I've never used any of their brass stuff.

I ordered a new IWB from COndition Orange Concealment. I wanted to try the all Kydex pancake style IWB for my new Kahr 9mm I bought from our buddies at Upstate Armory Group.

Just ordered it so it's not in yet, but heres a link. http://www.conditionorangeconcealment.com/Inside-the-Waistband.html

I will post a review once it gets some belt time.

Looks like a decent holster. IWB is my preferred method of carry as well.

Where did you find that price, and have you tried it out? I've read
good reviews.

I've never tried it but there's a plethora of positive reviews!

I always check http://www.gun-deals.com/ammo.php to see who has the best prices at the particular time. This time it happened to be a company I'd never heard of: Ammunitionstore.com. I got email confirmation from them, and UPS, that my ammo has already shipped and will be here Thursday.

TruGlo TFO sights, updated version for the Shield.

As an aside, do you know how hard it is to take pics of night sights? The tritium glow messes with the camera something awful.

I expect to see you update this thread in a month or so with your super-expensive Night Vision camera that you bought just for the above purpose.

LOL.

I do have an old Canon point and shoot (A540?) that I removed the IR cut filter on. Get neat pics like the stove glowing blue with heat. Still not true IR or II vision though.

I could try to rig up something with our babycam - it uses IR LEDS to illuminate the room and pics up near-IR quite well.

Actually - I know the solution. I just can't bring myself to burn a whole roll of (now difficult to find 35mm film) on one picture :)

I need to get a pic in the daytime - the Fiber inserts really glow pretty bright. Neighbors don't like to see folks with guns in the yard though. Shame, I had a 100 yard and 200 yard mailbox staked out for boresighting...

Put the TFO's on my M&P 9c....LOVE THEM. Did you go with green/green or green/yellow? Can't really tell in the pics.

Slide for my XDS goes out next week for cerakote and TFO install.

GREAT SIGHTS, especially for the money.

Green/green. I've heard the reasons for the green/yellow, but the rear dots appear bigger to me so even with all green sight alignment in the dark is pretty easy.

Right now, the pistol shoots consistently 12" low. Certainly can compensate for it when shooting a silouette target at defensive distances, but makes it hard to practice accuracy on a normal bullseye or object target at the range. I've got to get it to D&R one of these days.

Of course, I've had other issues with my practice ammo so it could be that. I don't like to target practice with $2/round carry ammo, once I've shot enough to know I won't have feed issues. I still have some of the FMJ I loaded with WSF powder and those aren't the most accurate or consistent in the world.

I'd say it could be me shooting the darn thing (and of course, it could be) but other folks have had the same issue with this gun, and I don't have that issue with my others.

A new RDR carry belt. Can't wait for it to come in.
