Barrels are hardcover unless specified soft cover. It's easy to tell a shred from a bullet hole. It would be like the shreds are not there.

Chambers crushed it!!! Oh and I added the 10 second unhit target penalty for shooting the barrel to my time. Wouldn't have beat Chambers either way though. That kid is GOOOOOOOOODDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!
