sounds great to me

Ok Ron said no problem Feb 9th 10am to 1pm would work. :D
Now if you pull into the road that runs between the gun shop and the gas station just continue to follow the fence. I will have the gate open at 10 maybe a touch before. This way everyone can pull around back and leave the front parking lot open for normal business. The side walking gate will be open for those that may want to go into the shop.
This is a no fee use for us. So please lets abide by the owners request of no firearm sales or anything that requires a form 4473 to be used. If you want to the shop will process the sale for you. Maybe we could do something like this a couple times a year. Might be an idea to think on.

I thought about bringing some lights and lasers...but think I'll find some other stuff to bring.

So ummmmm how are we going to get this out to more than the 10 people that have posted in this thread so that it's not just us standing in a back lot shooting the b.s. (not that I have a problem with that) but it would be nice to have a good showing

Oh Sure Dave...stir things up....LOL....you know... I do have 1 small laser I could sell.....

I will be there with a few things... don't have much....

I will bring my 4" table and a chair for me...

Steve

We need an Events sub-forum to advertise these types of activities and maybe things like reloading, survival, CWP classes, Prepping events,Food preservation, etc. What do the Mods think about this?

Steve I like my trouble shaken not stirred. :D

:D lights are for those who cannot see in the dark...

 laayyzzerzz are for those who cannot aim...

Just pokin fun!!

But yeah I think the sub forum would be cool ... But would it turn into a thing for a shop to post classes in or just something for us? Because if it turns into a bunch of $125 cwp class listings I will NEVER look at it... Just sayin.

LIGHTS AND LAZERS?

i read somewhere people put those things on guns.

speaking of lazers one has been made that will cut metal from over a mile away. star wars here we come.

How big is the power supply for that laser that cuts at such a distance?

I was looking at a metal cutting laser to add to my mill (along with the mods to make it CNC, as opposed to just DRO) to cut metal about 1/2" away, and I would have needed to add more 230V wiring to the house. Shame stuff like metal cutting lasers and waterjets are so expensive - not only to they cut better than a plasma cutter, but much less chance of fire so IMHO better for home hobby use.

I'll have a bucket of random brass, mauser parts, maybe all of a Mosin carbine sans receiver. Other bits and pieces. That is if I get a day pass - Saturday is usually errand day for my family.

So, how hard is it to find a receiver?

I'll have a rifle length AR handguard set with the end parts, A2 red dot scope mount, couple Gerber multi tools. I'm sure I can drag up a couple other things but most is gone as I was preparing to get reloading stuff.

Just remember to bring your own tables and chairs. :D
As to how to get it out to more. They are going to put a mention of the swap meet on their Facebook page as well.
:?: Maybe admin could sticky this for the duration for us???????
Word of mouth works as well. So talk it up....

1000th post

Mike i dont know the power of the long range lazer. heard it on the tv while i was on the computer.

i like the saw cans too but im starting to favor the 30 cal. they dont get so heavy.

I like the saw cans because they fit my reloading boxes. .30 cal cans are great for projects - for example, I built a nixie clock in one.
