Anyone interested in getting together some where in the lowcountry for a swapmeet?
I have a bunch of stuff I would like to trade off for things I might use. I was thinking we could meet at some gun friendly resturant parking lot and swap stuff and lies etc... Maybe not firearms but everything else. If we were to promise to spend a little cash at the eatery/coffeeshop they might let us use their lot.
Any interest? Suggestions?

I think that would be fun and interesting. Where? It would have to be private property. It would have to be large enough so our traffic would not conflict with other patrons. Does anyone know the owner of the old Kmart in Summerville or some thing like that? Just a thought.

I just passed the old strip mall on the corner of berlin myers and 78
That would be a great place
I just dont know how to procure it
Any help??

Sometimes there are signs right near the corner of companies leasing property there but I haven't noticed if there is one now.

That property is embroiled in a nasty legal dispute with the city, who threatened to auction it off for unpaid taxes.

That said, I'll come. :-)

So what ya think? Would we get in trouble if we were to just show up there and swap without permission?

I see that lot getting used for a lot of things, Shuttle parking, funnel cake trailer, firework sales, fire department driver training. Who knows if any of them asked first????

Well......anyone want to meet there some weekend? I guess the worst thing would be that we get asked to leave. So if its a go we should refrain from bringing firearms or at least keep em out of sight. I suggest posting a list your of wares before hand but you won't be limited to the list. This just gives everyone an idea what might be available.

I have military duty this weekend so if future events aren't on the first weekend of the month I'm in.

Ya know next werk would be better for me too
Gives me more time to clean out the gun room

So I am proposing next saturday maybe around ten AM

I talked with the owner of East Coast Guns (Ron). He said if ya'll would like to use the back parking lot behind the shop,it would be ok. It is all paved. Only thing is because of the Gun Shop he ask that no gun sales take place. They would be happy to do transfers for half the normal fee($20.00).That is if someone wanted to sell a gun. I would think he just doesn't want any possible trouble . Sounded reasonable to me. If ya'll want to use it just call Tim the manager and let him know when.. 843-832-2453

Feb 9 is good for me. It's my birthday, y'all can give me an new lower.

Behind the shop would be great
No chance of trouble there
Due to my work schedule Im unable to make the call during business hours
can anyone make the call?
Feb 9 sounds great to me
