However fordnut & I made a quick trip yesterday to debug a few guns. I had a 50% success rate on my guns but I think we got Steve's problems licked!

plan changed ended up at twin ponds about 9am met couple nice people, let me shoot his 45 XD, and another was talkin about his composite ar lower, had fun ran 100rds of cheap thula through the HK shot friends 223 AK, messed with is 12guage, kicked around the 10/22 a nice day....

All of this is in preperation for my spring/summer trip to either nebraska/South Dakota to go prarie dog hunting. I can't wait. I have been steady reloading as they say you shoot about 200-500 rounds a day. I'm taking two guns so one can cool while I'm shooting the other. Should be exciting.

Man, we need to do a special exclusive on that trip for certain!!!

I 2 am a member at PGC and just returned from a trip to SD at Eagle Butte, SD. Weather sucked though. We did get some limited hunting in with only one full day.

Alls good, it ended on a good note. Can't really complain one bad trip over all these years!

Im gona try and get to the range, this weekend, have a new Ruger GunSite Scout rifle to test drive and saiga 12 and 10/22 to play with

Just look for the big Sumo/asian shooting loud guns...

went to Boggy this evening with a buddy to get rid of some ammo that was closing in on the expiration date (lol)

had a good time shooting the soda cans someone left on the far berm with my open sight 64 year old yugo mauser. 12 shots with 11 hits is pretty darn good with eyes that are way over the half century mark...........

I was pleased to see a couple of families there teaching the youngsters to shoot. one young fella even knew that my rifle was a Mauser. kinda made this old fella feel good that our heritage is being passed on to the next generation.

Yep, I have the same feelings myself. Just cause its free, people feel they are FREE to do what the hell they want without consideration to the folks that clean up after them.

When I see asshats doing that kind of stuff, I remind them of the range rules. We have to take it upon ourselves to police our own ranks.
