Does anybody know anything about the forestry range on 560 near the Laurens County/Newberry County line? I heard it was a rifle range, but the are supposed to be making a place for handguns as well.

The cool people were at Boggy Head YESTERDAY! :mrgreen: I had a pretty good time. Ran another 270 rounds through the PSA AR with no issues. Ahh, life is good.

Then today i Introduced my friends daughter to firearms. Shes in the process to join our armed forces, so we gave her a little of whats she may encounter.

Had a great time at Boggy Head on Saturday before work, just out with some CoWorkers.

Then today i Introduced my friends daughter to firearms. Shes in the process to join our armed forces, so we gave her a little of whats she may encounter.


We were out there with you. I was wearing my Palmetto Shooters Forum hat. Three tall fellas. We had the PPSH41 and the Mil-Surp Mausers plus some hand guns more towards the other end. The British couple beside us had a great day shooting for the first time. It was indeed a great day for shooting.

Thats a Ruger Gunsite Scout in .308, she actually shot it very well for using the iron sights.

Yea i was the guy squatting for .308/7.62 brass

Where is the range in Newberry, just finished my AR-15 and am looking for a place near Columbia but can't find one. I have heard a lot about the Newberry range so I will try there if I can find it..Any help? Directions?

Frost and I have been talking Suday Morning....Got to go to the Gun Show Saturday morning...before the Obamanation outlaws them...LOL.

Usually, if there is a gun show, the range is empty till about noon or so...

I have to try out my new Kimber Solo...and, fire one of the AR-15's that Dale at Eastcoast just did over for me...He had to fix my fix-ups....

I should be there around 10:00
