That articles really simplifies the whole thing. While reading forums and Internet articles it's hard to tell what's new and old information. Thank you for posting that article. I've been eyeing Jesse's list planning on what I would need to do first to make it out to the first match. Getting pumped! I plan load some "bunny farts" and get my stuff ready as I can on my budget.I have my third daughter coming in a month hopefully find first match before then. I see the ap 4x4 caddies seem to be a great choice. I've looked at several mentioned. Is loading quads the best way? Since I am new to shotguns I figure learning the right way the first time is the best way. Options on which caddy is best and why??? All ears

"Bunny Farts" I think that will be my new title once figure out how to change the 22lr tag
4X4 caddy's is a bit of a dinosaur now. Load two and quad load is where you want to be. Your going to want to get your load port opened up to make quad loading easier.

I run the Invictus 4Q, 8Q and 12Q most but all the caddy's work. Each gas strengths and weaknesses. AP are fast but weak on retention. Carbon Arms are super secure but small so if you havebig hands like me they aren't as easy to use as others. Invictus probably has the best middle of the road all around best package when it comes to options and adjustability.

I assume average run I would only need 8 on the belt? Rare occasion I would need more. Is that mostly right?

At club level matches you won't see much over 20-25 rounds of shotgun. I'd recommend buying two 4Q and an 8Q from Invictus. That's what I run 85% of the time. At a club match you can always snag a caddy off a squad mate if you need more.
