Sadly you may be right, but what happens when the balloon goes up and the SHTF? We all know it's coming, maybe sooner than some think it is. I've said for quite a few years It's gonna be a long hot summer, and so far for the most part I've been wrong. However something definitely feels different this year, can anyone else fell it too? I see a summer of unrest, and I intend to be as prepared as I can be. Stay alert, stay armed, stay safe. It is coming just nobody is saying for sure when. Stay ready!

That's my point. Everybody ignored surrender /registration laws and instead, STOCKED UP ON AMMO!
Democrats know from experience that Americans will never surrender their firearms, which is why they now work for registration type schemes like "enhanced background checks" where they see EVERY transfer to build a confiscation database, and now talk of licenses for semi-autos.
It's amazing to me that half the country is enjoying constitutional carry and building suppressed SBR's to carry around as a "truck gun" - and then the other half is living under a communist/nazi type assault on freedoms where possession of firearms that were once legal is now a felony, and even open discussion of types of firearms is is a worry. Is the gestapo watching . . . listening? It's a concern.
But knowing what can happen FROM EXPERIENCE, people have been "GETTING READY" for a long time now.

Americans refused to "SURRENDER" their rifles, and their freedoms in general.

Well, I'll tell ya.
When it happened, I was beyond outraged.
At the time I belonged to NRA & GOA. There is no local meetings of either org. so I joined a local group. I wanted to meet with a group to talk about "what the hell are we gonna do about this crap".
There was about 40 -50 guys & some gals there. It took about 5 mins to realize that everyone there, is there to find out WHAT IS HAPPENING TO US - and NOT to talk about WHAT WE ARE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT!
Worse, there were more than a few retired cops there, who were FINE and felt quite deserving being exempt from restrictions, and saw no problem in the 2 tier system for constitutional rights. THEY were fine with the whole situation. So a big argument breaks out. I think they were surprised that any regular peon citizen being disarmed for "public safety" would be unhappy about their enhanced constitutional eligibility.
So it didn't go well. Afterwards, the people running the meeting said on the side to me,"It's about time someone stood up to those guys and their attitude of deserving better gun rights".
But it didn't count for anything.
So there IS truth in what you are saying.
(That is when I was told by an active duty Sheriff that, "There are a lot of county cops who think that only cops should have guns.")

Once a country slips into slavery by a Commie parasite, it's not easy to take single armed individuals & launch a counter insurgency.
It will take time to make inroads into the enemy's strengths. Believing the scared masses will follow you in your fight for independence if pure fantasy.

Your on your own!
Surviving in a third world environment outside the wire is going to be dangerous, so focus on family safety first.

A lone gunman pops up & goes after Kavanagh & up then up pops another & President Trumps is gone.

I despise cops of any ilk thinking they should be above the restrictions. I have family who is a retired cop of 28 years. So far none of that crap from him. He doesn't normally carry!!! What the heck????? Why not? I carry everywhere! so we have that. They ARE NOT above the law, and any cop who thinks different needs to be fired, and replaced with someone who gives a elephant dung about other people. A lot of them seem to be on a dang power trip, and It's all BS! It's apparently been decided they ARE NOT responsible for anyone's safety other than their own. So why do we have them then? We are responsible for the safety of our loved ones, and ourselves. It's apparent that a lot of so called peace officers don't even agree with that. I respect our Sheriff, and our deputies, but when, and if I get shitty attitude, that may change. Hopefully the good ones will take their oath to heart, and do the right thing. Sorry for the rambling rant, just tired of the BS going on.
