Finally got to attend a DSR match again last weekend. Had to drive way up north into Holland. Took us approx 2 Hrs (single drive) for 4 minutes of fun.
Unfortunately we're no longer allowed to take pics during these matches, but I attached a copy of the match layout we received.
The match was shot at an indoor range on their 100m range, yet we started at the 50m mark and went forward till approx 10m for the last stage (6 stages in total, with 6A being the stop pin).

As this was a testmatch for the organising club, I opted to try out a new setup and swap out the T1 for a Leupold Mark 4 MR/T 1.5-5x20mm scope and a Dr Sight on a 45° canted mount for the close in stages (10m and less).
In the end it was a good decision as I ended 5th out of 30.Too bad the result doesn't count for the classification.
The Dr Sight OTOH was of no use. Because of the indoor lighting by fluorescent lights the ambient light was too dim, so the self regulating dot didn't light up enough. Time to get one of those Trijicon RMR's I guess.

More on the match later.

A bit more on the match:
Stage 1: 5 wooden blocks @ 50m which had to be engaged from a kneeling position, through two holes in a door placed halfway
Stage 2: 5 A4 sheets, each requiring 3 hits for a max score, to be shot from a prone position underneath saloondoors
Stage 3: was a rack of 20 bowling pins, hung close together - I shot 28rds and still left 4 hanging, so this is a point I have to work on
Stage 4: 15 clay pigeons @ 30m, as it was such a close range I left the magnifcication of the scope at 1.5, but from time to time it was hard to see whether or not I scored a hit as the round just punctered the clay
Stage 5: 10 bearcoasters, each requiring two hits to get a valid score. As this stage was within 20m I wanted to use the Dr Sight but due to the indoor lighting the dot didn't light up so I had to go back to the scope, due to limited training (only 1 person to blame: myself) I lost some time fumbling around trying to find the correct hold over for that distance: cost me time & points
Stage 6: seated on a horsesadle, feet of the ground, you had to engage 15 small plastic stars (about 2" big) @ approx 10m. Again I had my hold off issues, but than quickly found out that placing the second ranging mark put me spot on on those pesky little targets
Stage 6A: a red bowling pin @ 10m that went down with one shot

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with the result and the choice of setup, but I definitely need some more training on the scope, especially at closer distances.
