Finally got to attend a DSR match again last weekend. Had to drive way up north into Holland. Took us approx 2 Hrs (single drive) for 4 minutes of fun.
Unfortunately we're no longer allowed to take pics during these matches, but I attached a copy of the match layout we received.
The match was shot at an indoor range on their 100m range, yet we started at the 50m mark and went forward till approx 10m for the last stage (6 stages in total, with 6A being the stop pin).
As this was a testmatch for the organising club, I opted to try out a new setup and swap out the T1 for a Leupold Mark 4 MR/T 1.5-5x20mm scope and a Dr Sight on a 45° canted mount for the close in stages (10m and less).
In the end it was a good decision as I ended 5th out of 30.Too bad the result doesn't count for the classification.
The Dr Sight OTOH was of no use. Because of the indoor lighting by fluorescent lights the ambient light was too dim, so the self regulating dot didn't light up enough. Time to get one of those Trijicon RMR's I guess.
More on the match later.
