I've been kicking this idea around for a little bit...
I sometimes ask if people have a holster set up for their off-side, in case they sustain an injury to their strong side. (not in a gunfight, that's another topic)
For example, a friend is having shoulder surgery and won't be able to use his right arm for 6 weeks. What is a good choice for a gun that'll be shot weak hand only?
I think it's a high capacity 9mm with minimal manipulations required, but maybe you think it's something else.
For the first Heartland Carrygun match in December, we will have a KYTAC emphasis, where the first certificate goes to a shooter that used a KYTAC holster they own for the entire match.
The second Carrygun Match will be the "Wrong Side Challenge!"
IT WILL BE A NORMAL MATCH!!
Shooters that decide to participate will shoot the match from their off-side. One stage will be one hand only for those shooters. The other stages will simply be "mirror image" where you can use both hands.
Who is up for the challenge??
