I heard one of the semi-pros (and recent member of a shooting team) gave a seminar last week at okcgc's pistol match on how to create your own port on a stage and how to try and argue to the RO that its legal.

Are there semipro memberships for team Accurate Iron available for sale?

At the recent OKCGC pistol match, I overheard a semi-pro talking to his groupie that was loading magazines for him:

Semi-pro "I doubt it"

groupie "I can live with that"

Nope you have to qualify by shooting the required number of events in 2011. If our resident Semi Pros would have joined Mr. Andersen and I in West Virginia last fall they could have dropped the Semi. You should read the rules. :girlwacko:

When asked if he read the rules, the semi-pro just shrugged his shoulders and said "I didn't know there were rules"

the only reasons I signed up for 3gn semi was that 1. it was only $25 AND 2. some of that $ is going to a veteran charity AND 3. it matched my match schedule for the year.
If they think theyre going to spring some qualification match on the semi-pros late in the season with no or little notice, and have me wanting to go there, theyre nuts.

They didnt state the "required" number of events until AFTER the events happened.

What is the best way to get out of taping and resetting at a big match or running the scores and/or timer at a club match?
