3-Gun at OKCGC

Well it will be a 10: a.m. start, DON'T plan on 310-320 yds as the long range is taken by a 1 day carbine class....however plan on some real tough 100 yard shots, and a rifle down up on a C zone. Just so you can plan on it it is one round standing, one round kneeling one round sitting, one round prone, mag change, one round prone, one round sitting, one round kneeling, one round standing.

Dang it, I was really looking forward to some non supported 300 plus yard shooting. Oh well, maybe next time.

Thanks to Jess - I'll have the M&P 5.45 to run

I'm hoping we will have the community shotguns again and I'll bring the ammo for that.
50 rounds 2 1/2 birdshot enough?
5 - 10 slugs too

(I'll bring my AK just in case)

I'll double check the 100 yard zero on the 5.45x39 and I will bring my two back up Accurate Iron Benelli M1's. I hope You guys will be pleasantly surprised with the new trigger job on the M1.

As always, my shotgun will be available for use to anyone on my squad that needs it.
I haven't noticed an ammo preference, but I usually use bulk winchester 7 1/2.

I'll be bringing out the new incarnation of Ol' Blingy (bling not included) and my new Remmy 1100, freshly worked and ready to rock. And I'll be there a little later than 3:30 for setup, but I'll be there.

There are a few out there and u knows who ya are, since they aint no long range ,as if it mattered, this mite be a good HM match,Ya Thank 8)

I'm definitely going to be at this one and I guess I'll have to be on a squad with Tony so I can borrow his shotgun.
But Tony, you better keep your eyes above my waistline this time. No more playing "lets spot the g-string"

Kurt, I can't think of why anyone would want to drop it.
Moving to saturdays means friday setup.
That may not help in the help dept., but I'm sure we'll be able to get something worked out.

3gun all the time sound fan freakin' tastic to me.
My response earlier was based on what this match has been up to now
Just help when you can,the pickup and put up is as important as set up,come a little early on Sat. and help with last minute target stapling or anything that needs tweeking.Ever little bit helps

I don't think I'll notice any trigger on a shotgun - they really have a kick - but thanks for the checking the zero - I'm gonna blaze this one up fellas!

Let's hope this is a slow week at work so I can get some loading done or I'll have to go buy some 40SW rounds :-O I've never loaded pistol stuff and a new loader that I've never used before has me a little nervous but I'm ready to finally shoot in a match! doubt I'll be able to get out Friday to help set-up but will for sure help tear down. The CZ still needs some work to shoot the light loads but it's getting closer YEA! the slugs should be interesting I better go pick some up. I guess it's time I start stocking up on different shells for the shotgun, what do you fella's shoot for buckshot? I figure just plain ol' 00 so you don't have to paste as much :-)

Looking forward to imbarrassing myself but ya gotta get the first one over with some time right. Later,

Kirk

Kirk, my first 3gun match was Rocky Mountain 3Gun, with a bunch of borrowed equipment. Don't worry about it. :)

you know this won't be a problem, see you guys Sat. morning.

I'll try to get there early enough to help with last minute setup, and I'll make sure to stay to help break it down too.
