3-Gun at OKCGC

I want to thank Taymoore, JP and Shawn (don't know his last name our squad mom today) for all the help and talking me into do the 3 gun thing I had a blast and found out a lot of the people in this sport are good people and are willing to give you the shirt off there back if you need it!!! This is a great fun sport and people don't know what there missing not trying this out. Once again thank you everyone for all the help today.

Jesse, thanks for letting my borrow that badass shotgun today!

You're welcome to it anytime. One of the reasons I have that extra Benelli is to let other shooters use it. You're welcome to it anytime.

How did it shoot the slugs? That's the barrel that was shooting 18-24" low at 100 yards. I had it bent back to straight.

Jesse, I need a benelli.... hook a brotha up!!

If you want me to start searching the interwebs for one for you just let me know how much you want to spend.

Ok it is our 3-gun club, and now we have seen a 6 stage match where it was fairly ballanced in shooting, but I need your input! First off where did we fall down? problems , things that need to be changed, scoring etc. Next was it too long, just right...or? Next time expect the long range stage to be available so don't beat us up over to short a shooting..hahaha.

I want to really thank EVERYONE who came out to set up and all who helped to tear down,. This is the most help we have ever had and I want to thank you all!! I want to thank Jesse for doing the scoring and doing it soo fast! OUTSTANDING!

Please let us know where we can do better. Thank you all for shooting. Kurt Miller

I thought everything was perfect and keep around the same round count it works out for poor people.. That's just my opinion.

Kurt/Curly, I thought the match was pretty awesome. Looking at the round count pre-match, I thought "that seems kinda low". I was pretty surprised at how wrong I was. With the exception of stage 2 (rifle standards), all of the stages were pretty action packed. The scoring was very fast & I like the way it worked. I also liked the amount of all 3 guns. Great match. Keep doing what your doing & thanks for doing it.

Great match! The only little complaint I could make was the little poppers on stage 1 could have been painted before each squad shot. I could barely see them and had it not been for that I would have probably came in first... Oh well

I had a great time. Scoring seemed simple - so I liked it. I loved the shotgun stages - super bad ass! I think I did so poorly because I had too much to think about.

That being said, I might be the best shotgun shooter in the world - whatever that means

We finished up around 4 - 4:30. I think we forgot to help stay and tear down some stages. After looking back, there was 3 squads and 6 stages. Do they have stages with run and gun with the shotty?

Kurt you guys did a good match, on stage 3 hangin out the door on that far target I might say some black paint might be needed for the trim on the building. I really liked stage 2 mostly from my background, it made you actually place shots not just hose them in there. I didn't care for the placement of the target stand on stage 4 I think on the red ant pile but it made resetting interesting lmao those little shits bite good!

Is it wrong to offer ideas for stages? I'm a noob so I'd rather keep in the good graces with everyone! I enjoyed the match, as long as it's not over 90 deg 6 stages are good. Later,

Kirk

Oh- stage two exactly the same but slugs instead of rifle or rifle on the way down slugs on the way up.

Boom

I hung around for the walk thru... (thanks Wes for the box-o-paintball stuff) and watched Chambers shoot his first stage.

That rifle course looked Mini 14 freindly enough... (brain is grinding...) Hey...Heavy metal .308 only?...my M1 is a 30-06
