2011 Area 4 Championship

yeah i went to their website and it isn't very helpful.... not even a contact us link... so has anyone done their 3 gun matches??? i go to church on sunday so i have been looking for some 3 gun on saturday and they have 3 matches, but no idea what time, how to register, etc....

Has anybody invited Robert P. to join the site?

I don't think so... I have never met the guys at DTR. I shot the 2009 Area 4 match but that was my first major so I was shy and stupid and only shot D's slowly. I'll send those guys up.

or it might be a better idea to invite Ken Cobb (the A4 MD). He seemed a lot more active on the local forums (dfwshooters.com) and benos.

Just as a reminder, the Area 4 Championship web site is up and running: www.area4championship.com

You can do your registration online, PLUS if you're a certified USPSA Range Officer, you can help work the match by writing "RO" in the comment section of the online registration form.

It's going to be a great match!

Looks good Phil. I hope we get a huge group of Okies to go and bring home some hardware.

Can we shoot the match in a one day format? I'm thinking Friday only?

That's an option a lot of people seem to like. Just make sure that you know someone shooting Sat/Sun who can pick up for you at the prize table. There won't be a random bag given out at registration this year!

good, cause that was stupid.

Phil, You announced that the Championship would be in Tulsa at the OKCGC IPSC shoot 1 month ago. But Double Tap Ranch had listed on their website that they would be holding the Championship. I know this because I checked their website a few days after April 2. I simply thought it was a misprint and leftover from last year and you must be correct.

So can you please clarify, without a long explanation, what venue is correct? Just the plain facts please.

Cheers

Shoot all stages on Friday or spread out on Sat&Sun, prize table on Sunday only. Party at hotel.

so regular joe 6-pack can shoot on friday? not just the ro's? i think i would rather shoot it all in one day and then go home; go back down on sunday ot pick up all my prizes and trophies and sign autographs; i will probably have to take a trailer to haul it all away? yes, no? lol

I beleive it will go 1st GM, 1st M, 1st A, etc. not sure how they handle the different divisions though.
