I'm making a few improvements on the M1 for next season and wanted others opinions if there is any advantage to only opening up one side of the port? I use (LH) weak hand reload and wondered if leaving the right side of the reciever intact would work like a "back stop" for the incoming rounds...

Wondered if there is a standard for who shoots a COF first? Around here the experienced shooters score sheets are mixed in random order with new shooters placed at the bottom of the stack. Seems that some want to go first and others flat out won't go first. Any other ideas?

I still shoot black powder silhouette competitions and in that sport you just about have to cast your own bullets, so casting a few hundred 1oz slugs is not a big deal. I was curious if anyone is casting/loading their own slugs for 3gun? I think I can produce my own for approx. the same or less...
