As I stated before, can't beat the EB trade-in deal. I got a bunch. Set for life.
Condition 1, naturally. As God intended. If at a redneck BBQ, sporting an open carry, it's going to be an 8 rounder because it completes the beauty of the 1911.
Otherwise there will be one in the chamber and 10 in the magazine. Condition 1.
Checkmate Industries mags are the Gold Standard. They are OEM to Colt, Ruger, Ed Brown, inter alia. No gimmicks, just perfect geometry and solid construction. After sixty-four years with 1911s, Checkmates are all I use.BEST MAG FOR 1911A1...???? WHICH ONE?
You'd be surprised at the taps on the shoulder of someone telling my my pistol is cocked. Yes it is, thank you for seeing that.Condition 1, naturally. As God intended.

Great to hear. I recently bought a Tank commander, but waiting on the weather to get better here.I have a Tisas 1911 9MM full size (duty) and it only failed once during break-in using the mags that it came with. No problems since then using Mec-Gar, Wilson Combat, and Chip McCormick. Probably around 2K rounds (commercial and hand-loads)
I too stay away from Pro mags because of poor fitting in to the mag well, not working well in sandy and wet environments and week fins.Concur, forgot about Brownells. Have several they work great. I stay away from promag products. Had several failures with the mags coming apart, bases flew off when loaded to mag.
I have a Sig Elite and a Colt Gold Cup Trophy that I use Wilson Combat 10 rd mags in and have never had a problem, run great.BEST MAG FOR 1911A1...???? WHICH ONE?
I stick to Glock factory mags. My Colt Huntsman uses only factory mags too. Hi Power mags are Mecgar that's what the factory uses. !911 all bets are off lol.Way back I had some ProMag Glock mags, no problems with those I can recall but have seen numerous problems with other models, so Wilson Combat and factory Glock mags how I roll these days, saw a video on ProMag drum, what a disaster
