I need to pawn my handgun and was wondering if anyone here has had experience in doing this? I am only needing money until my paycheck on Thursday, so I will be getting it out quickly. Is there anything special I need to do besides make sure it is empty when taking it in?

I'll give it a shot, the reason I asked is in the "Storage" section of the manual it states: Point the muzzle in a safe direction and decock the pistol by pulling the trigger. On the website it says to never dry fire the pistol.

A little confused, my Beretta U22 NEOS stays cocked after firing the last round of the magazine. I thought about just pulling the trigger to leave it uncocked when not loaded, but doesn't dry firing it damage the pin? I am going to look for some snap caps tonight after work so i can practice...
