Lets say I do a search on Accuate Iron from Yahoo, all goes well and several different options pop up, I click on the best option link and next thing I know I'm redirected to a Scion car add or shopping for purses! I just get redirected to different shopping websites. I can't seem to figure this one out but then again I'm far from IT material. Later,

I got a Scion thing in my Hotmail today, and just deleted it.
Sounds like something going around.

I've not tried running in safe mode, I'll give that a try! I've run several scans with the three and while I did find a couple of things nothing really has popped up. I'll let ya know if I find something funny! I sure hate these stupid viruses and crap funny thing is that while I have 2 anti's running this stuff still gets past grrrrr. Later,

Running in them in safe mode lets them pick up some things they can not in normal mode. Always worth a try.

Yes I have Webroot, Malwarebytes, and Spybot and none have caught it! I'm going to run them all in safe mode and see what happens, wish me luck. Later,

Ok 2 hours of running every one of my anti everything software in safe mode and while a few goodies were found the second batch of run throughs with the same software nothing came up BUT logged onto the computer to do a search for a new thermostat and BAM back to the same ol' elephant dung! ya know I'd like to find out who does this crap and shove a carrot up their ass  Later,

is this on all browsers? ie/chrome/firefox - ver of each? if you log in under a different profile/user on the pc does it still happen?

Funny thing, I set my browser from Yahoo to Google and searches work like they always have  I wonder if Yahoo has an issue? I wish I had grown up with computers! nah I take that back I really didn't mean it. I do wish I knew more about them though. Oh well I guess I'll just stick with Goggle for awhile. Later,

Run rkill before running antivirus software and malware software.

Don't forget to run ccleaner to correct your registry.
