Just get what you want and try to wear it out as I have mine, if you but and have to start changing things you got the wrong one for sure and wave to your $$$ going away for good, this is per my past life experiences. I bet you will not keep it and lose $$$ in the process, when Glocks became popular it seemed to peak out on the trade ins. Some 1911's had to be returned to stock just to resell if easily done so, this happened to us many times, rarely did we get in a good one with no issues. Most all were allowed about 35% trade in value back then and most took our offers. Which we explained why we offered that as we had to resell them. The largest influx on 1911s traded in were on Glocks or N frame S&W 44's during the Dirty Harry time frames. A 6-1/2" 29 was then the best trade in investment you could have as almost instant resale as long as the owner left it stock and had not tried to change it.
