A TON OF WORK, no novice could have done this, I was with a seasoned gunsmith and he scratched his head many times.... I bought mine in a lot of weapons and it went on a multi handgun report and the ATF reached out for the unusual serial.,.... I was able to keep all the parts and had to destroy the frame (so sad). There is a gunsmith in Bradenton Florida...J&MHow much work did it take to make the fit?? I have a WWI colt with a bad frame,(some dumb ass removed the s/n 50 yrs ago), and would love re-build the rest of those very old parts!
Did it take more than basic 1911 skills?
It is certainly worth the $115 or so that I paid for it ($135 incl transfer). That Remington looks like a dam good fit. Nice
