I bought the rifle and the shotty cause I had some extra cash and have always thought three gun looked fun. I originally had the idea yea I'm going to shoot three gun. I just shot my first uspsa match this past Saturday (well second I guess cause I shot one at heartland about a year or so ago) but anyways was a big wake up call. It looks easier than it is. I came to realize I should probably shoot uspsa a while then transition when ready. Not just automatically think I can learn and do it all at once. That's the story... I decided to keep the rifle cause having an AR is never a bad idea. Hell I may keep the stoeger too.

Keep them both and jump in with both feet, learning on the clock is fine and fun as long as you can do it safely... Don't be scared it's a rush!

Appreciate that! Ill just keep them both and eventually they will get use. If the worse thing I have a couple of sweet guns I'm ok with that. Gonna focus on practicing the pistol for the time being. Just compete against myself and work to improve each time.

That's really all anyone should do.
But, when you get a few buddies that are all at generally the same skill level, it's fun to push each other, trash talk & compete amongst yourselves.
Just remember to go at your own pace & don't try to keep up with the GM's, they've had a bit more practice
