Would like to hear from "Benelli M2 -3 gun edition" owners?

Can I get a Mike Cyrwus tuned Benelli? not so sure...

So, with me being Canadian, I might be SOL, but I know Benelli makes their own 3-gun style shotgun.

I would like to hear from anyone who owns one to see how it stacks up if this is my only option

My Third party importer and his registered FFL have just received some of these and I am looking to pick one up (perhaps ship to Mike for some extra work?)

It looks like it has all the typical toys and Benny is the one doing the work if I am not mistaken, but my questions are:

Does it ghost load from the box?
Are the lifters modded so it won't chew up my thumb?
What internal mods are done? (I see trigger and bolt polishing and smoothing, but what does that mean?)

I've been running one for a year now and I wouldn't trade it for anything, BUT Mike has laid hands on it and made it what it is now. They don't come with ghost load capabilities, out of battery mod, rear sights, lightened bolts or any tube length you want from Benelli. I personally didn't have a clue what I needed when I needed a shotgun and I didn't want to wait 2 months so I wound up spending way more more than I could have. Don't get me wrong, it was perfectly fine for what it's marketed to do, I shot 2 major shotgun matches and a couple major 3 guns with it and 3 locals a month last summer without any mods except a longer mag tube. It never gave me any problems but I took it by Mike's one day and in a little while he had it smoothed out where it loaded like ice on glass and did the ghost load and OoB mod. I finally got the bolt lightened the other day, I don't know that it really needed it but it sure looks COOL.
Benny does good work too. We just bought our son an M2 from Triangle last week and he used it at Surefire without a hitch. His CZ fell on it's face at Rockcastle and he needed one NOW. You get a better package from Triangle for less money than the "Factory" gun even though Benny builds them.
If you're in a hurry to get shooting get what you can get but if you've got the patience to wait buy an M2 now and send it to Mike, you won't be disappointed or regretful. His full-blown race guns are just awesome.

I am trying to source a Taran Tactical lightened bolt and see how that goes. It comes lightened with the OOB and ghost load capabilities with a cool gold color.

Patience or not, I got one email from Mike

"not setup for export, sorry can't help"

So he does not need or want my business even though I tried to explan to him the situation. <shrug> it's ok.

Going with a Benelli M2 3-Gun seems to be my only option.
