They've got some ridiculous laws on squatter's rights, too. Go on vacation for a month and some hobos are living in your house? Sorry!

As ridiculous as it is for him to be charged with a crime, I find it hard to muster up too much sympathy. England has been disregarding people's rights for thousands of years. I think I remember hearing about a group of brave men that stood up for themselves against this type of tyranny. Limies allow this situation to exist. Time to revolt, if only they hadn't lined up to turn in their guns 
What is really f'ed up, is charging his wife with the same crime. According to the story, she was just there and he shot the criminals. Now that is outrageous.
