Who Voted For The UN Gun Ban...

Over the weekend, we were seven votes away from the United States senate giving our constitutional rights over to the United Nations. In a 53-46 vote, the senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The Statement of Purpose from the bill read:

To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. , and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 of our senators were willing to give away our constitutional rights to a foreign power.

People, this needs to go viral. These senators voted to let the UN take our guns. They need to lose their next elections. We have been betrayed.

Great and informative post Steve.......I have read of this over the past few weeks and it seems that the general public had no say in this......Obama and his national socialist party (NAZI) are sneaking evermore deeper into taking control of the supposedly free American public......Many here on this forum blow great smoke, but no one seems to have a plan that will actually work..........I can now see why some go over the edge and make bombs...Are we being driven to revolt and mayhem?

Why can the fools that run our government not see this happening?????....................Or perhaps there are those that want our government to fail so that they may become the new "ORDER"

I posted that to my facebook feed, should stir up my old high-school liberal friends. I'll never understand how our government can allow an organization like the UN to occupy space on American soil. What a sham...and a shame.

As an Infantry veteran and current LEO I can report with complete honesty that if anyone wearing a blue helmet enters my neighborhood my resulting actions will make CNN forget about all other news for the next two or three days.

This is America and, as an American, I self-exempt myself from International Law and the laws of other nations, to include those of a conglomeration of many nations.

Pass whatever you like. It cannot change my life. But I sure as Hell can change yours...
