I've seen Jesse's video on the Hi Viz front sight post but have read a few comments that the U-shaped FO rod isn't very bright. I'm also looking at the Sight-Link sight post which seems to have potential with the ability to use a larger or smaller dot without changing elevation settings. This seems like it has potential to change based on lighting conditions to keep a blend of precision and visibility, but I don't know much about the company and the durability of the product.

Who can weigh in on this with useful discussion on different brands and types?

I've only used the hi viz and it's not too bright especially since tt comp gets it dirty too.

I think a big fiber front sight like on a shotgun would be tits. Of course you would need a bigger rear peep. Basically something in between the Dueck defense and the notch and post that xs sights has.

I have the HiViz on my dissy. It is a finer point. I need to work on re-zeroing the carbine. I keep wanting to but the green dot in the center and not the top of the post. I need to make it where the dot is centered.

I have had it on a few rifles in the past and I like it. My dissy just has the A2 birdcage and it seems to work fine. It ins's as bright as my G34 Dawson, but it is easy to pick up through the peep.
