Of the primers available for small pistols, is there a decidedly "most desirable"? Seems like all I'm able to find is CCI.

Okay, guess I'm on the right track. The only thing I seem to be able to find when I'm in need is CCI. They seem to be working fine for me, but was just curious. Thanks.

Depends on wheat your shooting. My glocks with extremely light striker springs will not reliably ignite cci primers I also know very light revo's have the same problem. I shoot federals in those guns. My 1911 and 2011 will shoot almost anything.

CCI have been 100% for me so far. I've had the most failures by far with Remington. By very far.

My M&P has a really sweet trigger job with light springs and has been good with CCI so far.

CCI is all I use. The best made.

I just use an extended striker in my Glock and it ignites them every time, no problems ever.

CCI is a great primer.

I'm to cheap to spend $80 on a striker!
You can find a striker faster than you can find federal primers, June Bug.

Don't forget you can use small rifle primers also for pistol.
Silly rabbit, hobo tricks are for kids.

I use them all for my gamer revos, I make sure I use Federal. I Winchester more often than not for just about everything. My hot 458 socom loads I use CCI primers because it uses pistol primers vs rifle primers and CCI's are harder that the others but I am trying out some Wolf primers next, there rifle primers seem to be the best for accuracy with many of my loads.

I always use CCI large pistol primers in my 458S. I don't even bother using Large Pistol Magnum Primers with that rifle anymore.

I've only ever used the Winchester. Simply because when I started shooting I was told to go and buy some, so that's what I bought. They've always gone bang for me.

Ive used them all with varying degrees of success.

CCI kills the rest of them. Don't buy them. Leave them for me.

On second thought, CCI is the only way to go.

That way the Winchesters stay on the shelf for me!

But seriously, just try a few and if they work for you then you're good to go.

Yeah, go buy Winchesters!

And Remington!

And the Federal primers no one but Chris Comer can find.

I bought 10K CCI small pistol, so you guys can have all the rest. :onthequiet:
