weakhand reload

Do you ever have to make a weak hand load? If so why not do it like you always would out of a magnetic mag pouch up front?

O
I've never made one in a USPSA match, but I could see the need to at least practice for some SD situation or just for grins and giggles to see if you can.
I'm ambidextrous, so if it came in a match it wouldn't be a big deal. Some really struggle though using the weak hand. I write right handed, but throw left handed, and can switch. (switch hands to shoot before you pervs check in) :D

Nice! Effective, but i dont like the excess motion. Ive never practiced weakhand reloads before but im going to now. see if i cant come up with an efficient method that works for me
The motion was to maintain muzzle discipline. Its rude to point a muzzle at your opponent in a shoot-off. Although, I do think I could make the 90 degree turn without moving my feet.

In a shoot off (or maybe a Pro-Am stage) that designates weak hand only...and if you're in Production, you may not have a magnetic pouch. Neat technique, I thought, with the 'dagger style' mag grab.

That's what I thought. My first thought was TacicalK9 is gonna shoot himself trying this. Lol !

I just can't see an MD making anyone do a weakhand reload. So there is not much point in learning this because in a self defense situation you don't have to keep the muzzle pointed that weird direction. Nor would you be shooting weak hand if your strong hand wasn't out of commission.

It is entertaining watching the French version of the AMU do weird gun tricks though.
