Just found out my Service Rifle teammate from the Army is going to shoot our first 3 GUN together! It will be like old times, except we will be more even and I won't get my ass handed to me. Lol! He achieved Distinguished Marksman in High Power Service Rifle. We we disbanded just as I was about to make expert.

Were you still on active duty when shooting the service rifle?
Guy at our range has been to Camp Perry 21 years in a row for the service rifle competitions.

Kentucky Army National Guard. But how I loved being put on orders to shoot. Budget cuts killed it before I got to Camp Perry. Lasted about 2 years, though. When we shot on our own dime, we travelled with my teammates cousin, who has won at Camp Perry several times.

But now, he can't make me drive, or exercise my pectoral muscles after a poor string! But it was all in good fun!
