Don't be shy about asking for help setting up if you need it.

also is there still a member discount or no

This is a new match, new range rules, new payment fee etc....Things are the way they are and we have to be able to pay to play.

With that being said it is a $20 match fee straight across for everyone. No discounts available.

So I take it you are paying for the targets? Went Rob and Jerry set up the match all targets was provided.
Rick,

Targets were not always provided for the match from ussa. They had to use their own personal targets on multiple occasions.

The owner has told me how he wants things and I am following his lead. The $10 per shooter fee goes straight to the range for range use, not targets, sticks or anything else. They are providing the space and we have to pay for that space, which makes sense.

Things are not the same as the old match, so whatever happened with them, happend with them, not me. So everyone has to let the past be the past...

Hope you guys make it out.

Chad

k, just asking.

It costs me more than $5 extra in gas to drive to the next closest match so it's whatever.

Chad,
Thanks for the information. And I hope the match works out for the shooting community. See you on the range

Chad is was great meeting and shooting with you this last sunday at Old Fort. I am looking forward to seeing you run this match at USSA, since it was one of my favorite places to shoot USPSA at.

Do I need anything besides a pistol, holster, a few mags, ear and eye pro to run this? I've got a G17 and a USPc 40 each with 3 mags.

Depends on what division you are wanting to shoot.

With your g17 you could shoot production since its 9mm but with only 3 mags, I would load them up and shoot limited minor.

Or shoot your uspc .40 in limited and 3 mags should be plenty and you will be shooting major pf too.

I'd shoot the g17 in limited. Your first few matches, you need to be learning how the matches work & learning the safety aspects of the sport not your score.
After you get it figured out how it all works & how to be safe, then move to production or invest in a good limited gun like a g35 or m&p40 pro or xdm40.

Gun? Check.

Enough ammo & mags to complete a stage? Check.

Holster & mag pouches? Check.

The ability to draw, shoot, and reload safely? Check.

You're good if you've got that.

Thanks for the info, guys. Currently, I only have a Raven OWB straight cant holster for my Glock, but no mag pouch. I think I'll just get a Blade-Tech dual mag carrier shipped 2-day later this week so don't have to reload out of my hip pocket lol. For the HK, I have a Raven IWB, Blackhawk SERPA paddle holster, and a Raven 2 mag carrier.

Also, are there any restrictions on accessories? My Glock holster is molded for a Streamlight TLR-1HL (light only).

Yea man you CANNOT have a light on it..

Ok, I'll just look at a blade-tech holster for the Glock as well. I doubt I can use my HK since it has a combat competition trigger setup. No safeties of any kind besides the internal firing pin safety.
