What can I say? HOT! - but we had 12 shooters show up to blast away at some good stages. We are utilizing our new bays to set up six stages and all seemed to work out ok. The new bays are narrower and shorter, so they lend themselves to compact stage designs. Our big bay allows us to do some wider layouts and more movement, so we are pleased with the new format.
Plans are in the works (actually dirt work has begun) on 6 bays dedicated to competition only south of bay 1. A couple of bays will be 100 yards, so we may have in the plans an expansion to doing some multigun matches! Stay tuned.
Thanks to all who worked to setup/teardown, and to the new shooters who made it to the match!
See you next month for the USPSA Match (August 19th) and don't forget we shoot Steel Challenge on every 2nd Saturday (we had over 30 shooters this month).
