This Saturday â€" it’s that time again.  The weather should be good.  Sign-in will start about 9:15, walkthrough at 10AM.  I’ve got 7 stages planned, at about 160 rounds or so.

I’ll be setting stages Friday afternoon starting about 1PM.  If you are coming to help set stages, if you’ll send me an email I’ll keep you in the loop on any changes in the plans.

I posted a newsletter on the website:  http://ipsc.okcgunclub.org/news.html

Most of you know Chris Lewis, one of our long-time shooters.  He’s just returning from Afghanistan.  One of his personal diversions over the last couple of months was that he wanted to design a really high quality shooting shirt â€" the Tech Gear stuff, with Oklahoma City Gun Club on it and appropriate logos, etc.  He is setting it up so anyone who wants one can order it individually with their name on them directly --ie., we are not taking orders; anyone interested can handle it through direct order and delivery to their home.  In the next couple of days, I’ll have that information posted on the website, where you can view the shirt design, with all of the appropriate links and references to initiate an order.  I meant to do it earlier, but I needed one of those Round Tuits that I’m always looking for.   The club isn’t making anything from the deal â€" it’s a really nice idea that Chris came up with for himself and coordinated the designs and obtained permission to use the Club name.  It’s a bit pricey, but it’s certainly a top end shirt and nice design.  …and needless to say, Welcome Back, Chris!!

Thanks.  Hope to see you Saturday!

What range will you be setting up on?

The matchbox always at the cowboy/action pistol bays on the east side of the clubs property. I will not be there for setup or the match. I merely posted John Bents email for everyone that isn't on his email list to see.

I thought that might be where it was.
I know you got to jump a plane.

This was a good match, despite my terrible performance on Stage 2. Picked up from there, though! Practice. This perishable skill thing is goddamn serious. Thanks to Mike for some really, really good stage tips.

Great match fella's! one of these days I'll remember my pistol has sights and might actually do worth a damn. Oh well I had a good time, got to chat with some folks and meet some new ones. I'm learning so that's always a good thing. Later,

Kirk
