USPSA Cheating Scandal et al

Most of the conversations on Doodie sound like conversation Micah and I have after 17 beers
And that's why I have always loved DP

This.

The whole situation bothers me. We do this for fun. I hate losing, I love winning, I loath cheating.
The very idea that we have a pathological cheater in the sport just disgusts me.
Again, I do this for fun. I just want to win a few trophies before I go blind and they cut my feet off.
Geez.

What's really going to be troublesome is of nothing is done about it.
The BoD is aware of it. I think there will be swift action.
I dont think the BoD will discuss much of it with the membership.
It'll be a footnote that member # such and such is revoked.
I dont think they can fix any damage that has already been done.

I know at least one major sponsor for the A8 match threatened to pull sponsorship if the person in question participated. I don't think they have a choice but to do something about it now.

Or, there will be a new rule not allowing video of any shooters! :)

My thoughts.

I wonder how much pride the cheaters have at the end of the day with their performance? Do they strut among the adoring crowd, knowing in the back of their mind they are a piece of elephant dung cheater?

I've wondered the same about the cheaters that bust a trophy buck at night with a spotlight, and proudly have it mounted to put on their wall.

Do they actually look at it, remember the hunt, and get satisfaction they did it right?

All sports have their cheaters. We need to weed them out.

I've never been a score keeper that the RO didn't have the timer behind his back so I could see the score and record it. If they don't, I'll ask to see the timer in the future.

This happened in USPSA not IDPA.... :sarcastichand:

I think this dude has a serious psychological problem.

Anybody that would cheat for himself or someone else in a piss ant sectional match is obviously doing it for the thrill more so than to profit personally.

It's like those eff'd up dudes that steal CD's at Walmart despite the fact that they r millionaires.

**People like this live by the moto, " DON'T GET CAUGHT ", if caught it is expected they take their medicine, however! rather than taking the Rx you often hear " I didn't do it ". This is a life style, day in, day out, work, home & recreation.**
It also will cause a many good folks, DUDES, including myself, not to wear a White Shirt to the matches for a while, aka, WSD.

Saying it and doing it are different things.
I could say that Olivia Wylde goes to bed with me every night, but we all know that ain't true.

How Many said "if you aint cheatin you aint tryin??"
If you haven't been caught you admit nothing and deny everything.
But the answer might be, who has not said it?
If caught, I would not say this but Jesse turned me onto a forum where someone else said:
That ****ing ****er is so ****ing ****ed!
