Hi Everyone; In reviewing the weather forecasts for later this week and into the weekend, I wanted to let everyone know that there is a good chance that we will cancel the December IPSC match at the OKC Gun Club. As it stands right now, we are expecting seriously cold weather and rain/freezing rain/snow on Thursday night and through Friday when we'd be setting stages. The high for Saturday is in the 20s -- a big warm-up from the mid-teens to start with....!

I don't really trust the weather forecasts this far out, so we won't "make the call" until Wednesday. The way the weather goes around here, by then it could be a very different picture.

I will put out an email Wednesday evening and post on the website -- what we've decided to do, so BEFORE YOU HEAD FOR THE MATCH, CHECK FOR UPDATES.

Please help us spread the word. The last thing we want is for folks to drive up to the range and only then find out we cancelled. It is very rare for us to cancel a match.

Hi folks; Looking at the weather for Friday and Saturday we have decided to cancel the match. Our apologies, but it isn’t safe and we want to make the call with enough time for the word to get out to everyone.

I would appreciate your help in spreading the word â€" the last thing we want is for someone to drive to the match and find out it’s been cancelled. Well, okay, that’s the SECOND to last thing… the first place has to go to avoiding having someone hurt at our match.

Merry Christmas to everyone and we will see you next year. We have so much to be thankful for, even in these often-troubling times. Spread the cheer and good wishes.
