Lacey Swope says we are good. She has de-throned Emily Sutton as the official meteorologist of Boomer Shooter

What's the weather doing over there? Is it misting and raining for the past 2 days as it has been in Tulsa, if so any update on range conditions?

I've not been out to the range, but yes it's been misting here the past couple days. Hopefully, someone will have an update here today after setup.

What channel is Lacey Swope on?

I heard Accurate Ron was buying the first round of beers at that honky tonk near the range afterwards. Who's in for some "practice" after the match?

Itll be dry enough so that we dont have to bag targets, thats really the only issue. Weve had very little actual rainfall, but lots of fog and 100% humidity.

Bow hunting Lacey is on 9, News 9, Gary England's old hangout.

Update from John

Hi Folks;

Had a request to provide a range condition report. The bays are wet, but not bad at all… I was concerned about the northern most 3 bays since we haven’t graveled them yet, but they are okay…. One bay is a little mucky at the back berm, but mostly just wet, leaving light footprints at the most. The other 3 bays are just a little wet…. During setup it was in the 60s and overcast much of the time, but as the temps started to drop about 2:30 or so we had a little rain. Just heavy overcast when we left about 3:30. It is supposed to move out tonight and tomorrow be in the 40s and warming into the 50s. If it works out that way, the bays will do nothing but improve.

There is no standing water and you don’t get heavier & taller as you walk around…..! 

We’ve set 7 stages on 6 bays, with one bay having a short classifier and speed shoot, done together to balance with the other stages which are all field courses… about the usual round count. They ought to be fun â€" some are Greg’s, some are mine… most of them subjected to “group evil-think”… that’s what happens when crazy people show up to set stages!

Hope to see you tomorrow.

John
