USPSA at OKC Gun Club 6/1

Email From John yesterday

Hi Folks;

Yes, the match is “on” for Saturday and setup will be Friday starting about 1-ish.

Based on the weather today and more forecast for tomorrow, plan on it being muddy and perhaps wet. I haven’t been to the range yet, but unless we get gully washers we should be able to hold the match on Saturday. We will probably plan stages with reduced movement and perhaps more steel and lower round counts.

THAT SAID, IF THERE ARE ANY CHANGES, I’LL POST THEM TOMORROW EVENING ON THE CLUB WEBSITE. http://ipsc.okcgunclub.org

Thanks

John

Heaviest rains for that area didn't hit until late. Hopefully an early announcement will be made in the morning.

I got this at 643 pm last night:

Hi Folks;

We set the stages for tomorrow’s match â€" the range conditions were perfect except for hot & muggy… no mud at all.

As of 5PM when I left, all was well. That said, storms are coming and there is a big tornado on the ground in El Reno, so it looks like this may be a very interesting evening. Last weather report said storms would move out in the morning…. We’ll see.

If you are traveling in for the match, check the weather and roll the dice. We’ll be up there as scheduled and we shall see what we have……

Thanks.

John

Ahhhhhh, Springtime in Oklahoma….. Uhhhh, I’m ready for summer…..!

see you guys next month!!!!

I hated to miss the match but I am up here in tulsa taking acp1 with tdsa. This is Awesome. Great instruction and serious trigger time. Def make the next one. Thought we were going to get a tornado here also.

Hated to miss the match. Perfect weather, but I had to deal with the El Reno tornado aftermath, with no electricity
