Jesse asked me to keep you guys updated with what's going on in Arkansas.
March 31st - MVSA IDPA Regional
MVSA will be hosting the 2012 Mountain Valley Regional Championship on Saturday,
March 31, 2012 at 8:00 a.m.. The match will be held in Hot Springs, Arkansas, This is
an IDPA Sanctioned Match. As such, all competitors will be required to have their valid
membership and classification cards. Early entry is $75.00. Match fee for entries
postmarked after March 22nd is $95.00.
Awards will be per IDPA guidelines. Division Champions, Senior, Distinguished Senior,
Lady, Junior, Law Enforcement, Military, Military Veteran, and Most Accurate will be
recognized, as well as High Overall Novice. The match will be limited to the first 125
shooters and will consist of:
• 10 exciting stages
• Approximately 150 rounds
• Reactive and moving targets
• Lunch
• Prize Table
• Drawing for 2 Glock Pistol Certificates (for the Glock of their choice)
Match sign-in will be on Saturday (31st) at the range and will start at 6:45 a.m. Shooters
meeting will be at 7:45 and shooting will start promptly at 8:00. A BBQ lunch, consisting
of beef and pork sandwiches, slaw and beans, will be provided for all competitors and
extra meal tickets for family or friends can be purchased for $7.00 each. Lunch will start
around noon and will be available for the remainder of the match. We will NOT be taking
a break for lunch, but, we will have open squading so you can eat whenever you want.
Please note on your entry the number of extra meal tickets you will need.
