Just got my Tisas Yukon back from repairs. For the second time.
I know a lot of folks like their Tisas but I'm not real impressed given the lack of quality. Already had to send it in the first time because of sloppy slide to frame fit and the barrel lock up had too much play. They replaced the entire top end and after shooting it for less than 100 rounds of weak sauce range 10 mil, the barrel lock up didn't lock up again. I sent it back to Tisas and they had it for 7 weeks.
They returned it to me and did not send me a tracking number so I had no idea when it was going to show up. Luckily I was home when FedEx showed up and wanted a signature to receive the box.
Took a look at it and discovered that yes the barrel is locking up at this point, but the slide has dings in it where
cases would hit the slide from ejection. Also, the rear sight is missing the set screw. They may have redone my existing slide but that's not what they said in their email that they were going to do. I was told specifically that there was to be a new slide to go with the new barrel and recoil components. Not really happy with their lack of quality repair work.
