What an exciting next couple of weeks we have at Oil Capital for y'all metal maniacs:
Sun 8-24-14 Steel Challenge
Sun 8-31-14 Steel Challenge
Mon 9-1-14 ProAm (probably count on the one on one stage and shotgun division)
So, start cranking on the reloading press handle and pacing the streets on your way to every Wallyworld store you know that sells rimfire, cuz we have a lot of shooting to do.
Remember Steel Challenge matches are the simplest type of speed shooting competition and they present a great opportunity to get good practice, break a bad habit, or to bring a friend or family member who is new to shooting. Or if you are experienced, come see how quickly you can work that feint sight and trigger finger (some can hit 5 targets in under 2sec.)
Our ProAm matches attract some of the best shooters around, so if you are new or need a tip or two, or simply want to get more tactical trigger time, these are great matches for you to attend.
Whether you are into tactical shotgun, speed reloads, on the move shooting, rimfire AR.s, or simply standing and scorching steel plates, we have something for you at Oil Capital.
We might have a training session in between all this steel madness as well (open to suggestions on date and time.)
